GISI Consulting Group Appoints Dennis Berlien as Senior Vice President to Support Strategic Growth Across its Global Business

GISI Consulting Group has appointed Dennis Berlien as Senior Vice President, where he will help drive the firm’s growth across advanced building services, mission-critical facilities, sustainability, and other specialized technical consulting disciplines. Working across GISI Consulting Group’s portfolio of operating companies, Berlien will focus on expanding private-sector opportunities, advancing technical service offerings, and supporting the Company’s strategic growth initiatives.

Berlien brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the engineering and consulting industry. Throughout his career, he has led engineering and professional services organizations generating more than $100m in annual revenue, built and developed high-performing multidisciplinary teams, and expanded consulting practices serving some of the industry’s most complex facilities and infrastructure projects. His expertise spans engineering services, sustainability solutions, mission-critical facilities, and high-performance building design.

Most recently, Berlien served as a National Practice Leader at Kimley-Horn. Prior to that, he held executive leadership positions at several of the industry’s leading engineering and consulting firms. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, and Designated Design-Build Professional.

In his new role, Berlien will work across GISI Consulting Group’s platform of operating companies—including Hill International, GEI Consultants, LiRo-Hill, Asia Infrastructure Solutions and others—to expand the firm’s capabilities in commissioning, advanced building engineering, sustainability, and other specialized services critical to complex facilities and infrastructure projects. He will also support GISI Consulting Group’s strategic growth agenda through mergers and acquisitions, industry partnerships, and increased collaboration with its sister company, STO Building Group.
