Rick Eng is an Electrical Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Board of Engineers (Singapore). Rick graduated from Monash University, Australia under the Colombo Plan Scholarship and his early days were spent in the Ministry of the Environment where he gained skillsets in the design, construction and operations & maintenance of sewage treatment plants in Singapore. He later moved to the private sector when he joined J Roger Preston.
With a career spanning almost 40 years, Rick has accumulated extensive experience in the design and project management of M&E building services engineering for large mixed developments, residential and commercial projects, mission critical facilities and sewage treatment works. He has been involved in the rejuvenation of Changi Airport T2, Central Boulevard Tower, Raffles Hospital, Pasir Ris mixed development, among others.
Prior to his current appointment, Rick was the Managing Director of J Roger Preston, Southeast Asia, where he was responsible for overseeing offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam, as well as projects across the region. His role also included managing iconic and high-profile projects in Singapore and serving as the Electrical Professional Engineer and HT switching as a Licensed Electrical Worker.
