ST Poh brings almost three decades of extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure design and construction projects across Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and other parts of Asia. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership in both client and international consultancy organizations, for both corporate management leadership roles as well as major infrastructure projects implementation from inception to completion.
A recognized leader in the Rail and Transit industry in Asia, ST began his career at the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA), where he spent 11 years delivering major Mass Rapid Transit projects. Prior to joining AIS, he was AECOM’s Head of Rail and Transit in Asia and oversaw operations in Southeast Asia. Earlier in his career, he served as Planning and Design Director at Malaysia’s Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (MRTC), and as a senior business leader in Arup’s Infrastructure group in Singapore, where he led major railway projects across the region.
ST holds a Master of Science (MSc) in International Construction Management and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He is a registered Professional Civil Engineer in Singapore, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE), an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE), a Member of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (MIES), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (AClArb). These qualifications reflect his deep commitment to engineering excellence and infrastructure development.
