Irene is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in the Asia Pacific market. Initially serving as Asia Finance Director at GISI, she led finance and accounting operations through financial planning and reporting, finance system and automation implementation, tax and treasury, and M&A.

Prior to joining GISI, Irene served as the Head of Finance of TX Capital, an alternative investment management firm based in Hong Kong. There, she drove the corporate strategy of the business, including raising capital, investor relations and fund administration for institutional clients, family offices and high net worth individuals.

She also served as Asia Pacific Controller of AECOM, responsible for the controllership activities for over 15 countries across Greater China, Southeast Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand. She spent 10 years practicing tax advisory at Deloitte, most recently as Senior Tax Manager specializing in M&A structural advice, tax due diligence, transfer pricing and tax audit.

She is a certified public accountant and a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and was a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Professional Accountancy) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
