Billy Wong

Biography

Billy Wong is a distinguished cost management and business leader whose career has been defined by professional excellence, strategic leadership and the successful delivery of landmark infrastructure and building developments across Asia. Over more than four decades, he has helped shape the quantity surveying and cost management profession, built high-performing consulting businesses and advised clients on some of the region’s most significant developments.

He began his career in the United Kingdom before returning to Singapore in 1983 to establish KPK Quantity Surveyors. Through sustained growth, mergers, and acquisitions, KPK merged with Davis Langdon and later AECOM, building one of the region’s leading cost management consultancies.

Billy then served as Chairman (Singapore) and Regional Executive (Southeast Asia) at AECOM, where he led a multidisciplinary business of nearly 2,000 professionals across eight countries, driving growth across transportation, infrastructure, healthcare, commercial real estate, energy, and other key sectors.

A Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV), Billy has received numerous professional honors, including the RICS Lifetime Achievement Award (Southeast Asia). His enduring contributions to cost management, professional practice and business leadership continue to inspire future generations of built environment professionals.
